Birchie had a grand old time at the Woodson Family reunion in June. She got to play in the pool for the first time and see her cousins. She and Lily are having a rip-roaring time on the swings, as you can see. That was her first swing experience. Maybe we shouldn't have started out with a dolphin. She's turned up her nose at the regular swings ever since.
Birchie got to meet my uncle Kirk and my cousin Allison in July. They brought her a few presents. "Wow, an Elmo doll!!!" says Birchie. "It's just what I wanted!" She's never heard of Elmo, but that didn't prevent her from being excited about it!
We got Sandy and Boudreaux little dog beds. (We had to put Indy down before we left Comanche. He had a big tumor.) The bed is barely big enough for Sandy, but somehow Birchie managed to squeeze herself into it. Birch also baths at the Burns spa, also known as the kitchen sink. It's the perfect size for baby bathing!

Great pictures of Birch and the family. I am glad that you guys are getting settled in the big city. It sounds like Birch really takes after mom and dad in loving to do things outside. Can't wait to see you all. Love, Tommy and Julie
